Seems like it was just yesterday when two young girls came out of no where with there wonderful music. Actually it was 1999/2000 and the talk around town - hollywood buzz - was the controversy of Britney (then so innocent) and Christina - the Genie in a bottle. The similarities and differences of the two have created many magazines, reporters and Hollywood gossip columnist to go wild. So funny how those two songs have practically reflected who those two girls are today. Back then I remember how I could not figure out what was so terrific about Ms. Brittany, I preferred and still do to this day Ms Christina. Now who's is laughing last - there is no comparison between the two and I never ever thought there was. It was a no brainer for me back then Christina is a lady from the word go and out classes Ms. Brit by far. Christina's voice and talent far exceeds the little Louisiana trash queen and time told the truth. Believe it or not they are still the Hollywood buzz - the two being compared even the husband vs ex-husband. Christina was supposed to be the wild child, however seems like she did what most kids do now a days and got it out of her system. Now she is as it seems happily married, stable and expecting her first child. (Genie in the bottle????) Far different cry than a couple of years ago where everyone was thinking she was a nasty person or was it dirty? Hmmmmm - look who is the nasty person now the cute innocent Spears.(Oops I did it again) Seems like that song fits her real well, there is constantly a oops for her. She got married to a guy who paid a little bit of attention to her(oops) - remember she did get married before and it was annulled(that was an oops). Everyone is talking about the children she had with him was an (oops) - I don't believe that for a moment children are an(oops) they are blessings from above. Shame on Hollywood for teasing her in that area that hits way below the belt. Remember when she first got married to the guy everyone was worried about her - well for good cause look what has happened. For real, I feel sorry for Britany - Hollywood, fame and fortune went to her head and like many others before her she can't cope. Maybe it's parenting that has created this problem in the first place, hmmm would that mean her Mom and Dad (oops did I say that?) Is it just bad luck or a young girl trying to grow up too fast?????? Now she is rebelling against everything, hopefully she will find her way back again. The only problem is that I don't think she has the talent that will keep her a star - she's just a flash in the pan. Christina is here to stay and has real star quality. She has built herself upon stable ground and therefore will be stable herself. Anyway, good luck Brittany come back to reality, get your life back and get your children back don't make life one big oops!!!!
