memories

When I was just a little girl about 3 or 4 I have wonderful memories of my grandfather and myself working in the garden. My grandfather lived in Norwich, Norfolk England and he had a greenhouse and a long beautiful garden in the back of his house. I remember following him around in the garden as he worked on his various plants. He also used to take me on trips where we would visit gardens throughout England and point out the various types of flowers. To this day whenever I work out in the yard, do some gardening, or visit a garden myself those wonderful past memories creep back into my mind. This is all to say that the things you do with children when they are young mold that person into who they are as an adult. The things that people enjoy today probably was based on a good or pleasent feeling created way back when they were young. I loved my grandfather dearly and to this day I appriciate everything he taught me at a young age. As you may or may not have noticed - I love the outdoors and gardening, one of my most favorite places to go every year is Powell Gardens, and it's because a wonderful person spent time with a child many years ago.
